TWIN PEAKS (aka Trouble & Strife)

Had a fight on my hands with this quilt, but I finally got it done - if it wasn't for such a good cause I would have given up on it much earlier

Not the best bit of quilting I have ever done, but have a look at the SIBLINGS TOGETHER blog to see why I perservered.
The free downloadable PDF version of the pattern itself is now up on the MQGB website. CLICK HERE to visit the patterns page

New Year, New Word, New Top

Bit dark and windy, but this was my first Proper Sewing for 2018, made yesterday. I made a big version of my little Red Cat (click for a free pdf pattern) and I'm working on a trad version and a tiny one.. Series are so satisfying

Anyway, we have bashed the stash, got rid of a million "whydoIhavethises", freecycled a whole load of stuff, cleaned the carpets, made a Sale table (and sold lots of stuff from it) and we finally gave in and Sewed yesterday.. Oh, the joy! And Oh! my back! - it's forgotten how..
Got this (Hep Cat) onto the line just as the light faded and the wind came up, hope to layer this today

(ETA, did layer, and the Word is here)
