Despite our best intentions...

... not to add to the stash, we were led astray...

Red fabrics have been hard to find, so we had to engage with batiks, and I got a really good lot of backings for charity quilts and some wonderfully gothy stuff

Left Hand End...

...of the stand is mostly AitchBee's place - we have has a stunningly good winter for pattern and sample-making, and these are just a few of the goodies she has produced

Enjoying the scenery (if not the weather!)

Having said that, we had some lovely sunshine on the way back to our peaceful apartment in Paisley after the show today. All the better for admiring the amazing architecture of Glasgow - really must come back here as a tourist sometime soon. Anyway, I digress: without further ado, here are the winners from the Themed Quilts (Colour of the Isles) category and lower down the Art category.

Themed GOLD: 'Rackwick I' by Sheena J. Norquay - makes me wish I had time to go and see it!

Themed: SILVER 'Machair Magic' by Jane Appelbee

Themed: BRONZE: 'Colour Blindness' by Lauren Connor (sorry - terrible photo, I will try and get a better on tomorrow!)

Art GOLD: 'Dance Crazy' by Patricia MacIndoe - A relatively small quilt but lovely use of colour and an interesting combination of machine and hand quilting

Art SILVER: 'Lava Flow; by AitchBee  - that'll be me then!

Art BRONZE: 'Frosty Morn' by Anne Haughs - very subtle, this photo doesn't do it justice, lovely three dimensional leaves on it too

So, here we are in Glasgow...

After 13 hours of (somewhat) wet roads yesterday, we made it to Glasgow, and have set up for the Scottish Quilting Show, tomorrow (Thursday 7th March) until Sunday. Above, and right next to our stand, is the Modern Quilt Group Challenge 2018 stand being set up - the ICHF have really done us proud with the travelling show of this stuff..

Here we start to hang stuff up - the stand is nice, clean black cloth which you can pin stuff to..

And the usual Old Machine all ready to show the latest in Modern Quilting
I'm teaching and speaking each day (talks at 11:30, workshop (Pieced Trees) at 2 pm) and will be very pleased to see you all there..
